How to replace the connecting bushings/boom bushings/roller bushings on an excavator
First of all, all bushings can be fixed in their position, but this is different on different machines. Bamboo excavators usually have a large nut and washer at the end of the bushing, while Jubota and JCB excavators usually have a hole drilled in the end of the bushing and then bolted in place. Other machines have a thread on the end of the bushing that can be tightened with a screw. No matter which excavator you have, you have to take it off and then the pin can be removed.
For equipment with seven star bushings, the bushing is easy, but when you get further into the bucket arm, you should make sure you have to start with the boom according to the beam and then make sure the bucket arm is very resistant when you start placing the bushing.
Usually, if you want to remove the boom to replace the main post bushing, you must help remove and put back the overhead crane or forklift sling.
Once the bushings have been removed, you must begin repairing the bushings. It is always recommended to replace the bushings and sleeves over time as they break together, so replacing just one part usually causes a bigger problem.
