Hydraulic breaker construction
In order to understand how a hydraulic breaker works or what the working principle of a hydraulic breaker is, it is necessary to first understand the structure and main components of a hydraulic breaker.
The hydraulic breaker is mainly composed of three parts.
1. Back (N2 chamber)
The back is a container for storing N2.
It is filled with N2 under high pressure. The inner chamber dampens the rebound of the piston.
It also increases the impact force when the piston moves downward.
2. Cylinder Component
The hydraulic breaker cylinder component is the key component of the hydraulic breaker.
It mainly consists of cylinder, piston and regulator.
The piston and spool are the only two moving parts in the hydraulic breaker.
The piston is moved left and right to collide with the tool, and the gate valve is rotated to manipulate the oil flow.
This is one zone of motion and one zone of hydrodynamic force generation.
The oil is actuated by the main valve and the hydraulic flow drives the piston to generate the impact energy.
The cylinder is equipped with a sealing module to prevent oil leakage.
3. Front Head
This is the area where the piston is attached to the chisel (or tool).
The chisel is held in place by a bushing and a pin, which is the most important part.
The housing is in contact with the working surface, which prevents damage and provides longer life.
